In addition to recording/producing the new Battlecross album (releasing August 2, pre-orders available), Josh also created its hand drawn CD artwork. You can watch him work in this time lapse video that was just posted over at MetalInjection.net.
The first review for Battlecross’ Pursuit of Honor is in, and it’s glowing! Reviewer Aniruddh “Andrew” Bansal of MetalAssault.com gave the album 9.5/10, and went as far as to say, “this is one of the most ‘complete’ heavy metal albums I have heard in recent times.” This will be the band‘s debut Metal Blade release when it drops August 2. It’s official! In an announcement yesterday, Metal Blade shared that Battlecross has joined their roster. Kelli Malella commented, “We have been keeping our eyes on Battlecross for some time now and watching the band grow into quite a beast. We feel confident that metalheads across the world will enjoy the ferocity and dedication that Battlecross will be bringing forth on their debut album as well as the stage.” Congratulations, guys!
